Becoming a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church is all about commitment. Ebenezer Baptist Church is a place where there are no strangers, just friends you haven’t met.
Visiting a church can sometimes be a little overwhelming. If this is your first time as a guest, you may have lots of questions such as what time is service, is there praise & worship, where can I park, are there classes for children, etc. This section will give you all the details about what you can expect!
Our commitment is to help you become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We believe that four spiritual disciplines are essential to your spiritual development:
Grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ
Connect in biblical community
Serve in your God-given ministry
Share the message of Jesus Christ
Becoming a member is a way to for you demonstrate your commitment to us. If Ebenezer Baptist Church is your home, and you share our passion for making an impact on the secular with the message of Jesus Christ, we invite you to become a member.
Members participate in quarterly congregational meetings and vote on important issues such as the annual budget. In addition, membership is required for certain volunteer positions such as teachers.
We encourage spiritual growth and worship through baptism and giving financially, but these are not a requirement for membership at Ebenezer Baptist Church.

You will receive your application at the membership orientation which is usually held immediately after each service. Married couples need to complete two separate application forms. Give or or go online and submit the application forms to the attention of Executive Care Ministry,1807 John Paul Drive, TN 38114. Membership applications will then be forwarded to the senior pastor office.
One of the coaches will call you to schedule a short personal interview. This phone interview will be within 24-48 hrs of submitting your application.
After the completion of your new member orientation class all new member candidates should make every effort to be at the congregational meeting so that they may be recognized and introduced as new members of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
